I have done a lot of traveling but very little on organized tours. I always wanted to do an upmarket safari in Africa but could never schedule with the availability of friends. So I decided to join the Girls on Tour Kenya/Tanzania tour in July this year (2010). It turned out to be a fantastic experience and everything I had hoped for. The other ladies on the tour were terrific and in a very short time we were chatting away as friends. The hotels in the safari parks were excellent with wonderful amenities and fantastic staff. Most had a specific African theme, like the one made of a rock type material sitting on an edge of a cliff. I can still remember opening the balcony doors and looking out and seeing elephants, giraffes, zebras and buffaloes, as well as hearing the hippos in the background.
We saw all the 'Big 5' and so many more animals, in large groups, family groups and solo. We had so many experiences where the animals were so close to us that you felt as you could put your hands out and touch them or look them straight in the eye --- unbelievable. Lots of fantastic photo opportunities.
The vehicle we travelled in was one of the best available, which is essential when you are traveling on rough roads and tracks. The African tour guides were friendly, knowledge and accommodating.
Would highly recommend the tour to everyone.

Great holiday. Very intense in Italy, not much own time. Tour guides were fantastic in Italy, not so in Athens or Paris.

My trip to Egypt was the culmination of a lifetime of dreaming and studying books, documentaries, movies, and anything else concerning that country. Judys organisation and personal care made it the holiday of a lifetime that lived up to and, in fact, exceeded my expectations.
Although I was one of the youngest women on the trip my arthritic joints and fitness level made it difficult for me to keep up at times. Judy always ensured that I was comfortable and looked after when I chose not to attempt steep stairs etc. I would (and already have) gladly recommend Girls on Tour to anyone wanting a carefree holiday where your every need is anticipated and taken care of. Five Star Travel in my opinion.
I look forward to travelling with this group in the future and I am already planning my next trip with Girls on Tour in 2011 River Cruising in Europe!

"The trip to Egypt was the most amazing experience and exceeded all my expectations. You managed to arrange all the connections re; transport, with a minimum of fuss and wasted time was kept to the bare minimum, which was greatly appreciated. I cant imagine that there is very much left for me to see if I ever went back to Egypt as your tour was very comprehensive and included all the sites of main interest to me and a few that were quite unexpected.
The unexpected was what made the tour so interesting for me ie., balloon ride, coffee shop at Khan el Khalili bazaar and bus tour of Dubai etc. Your tour guides in Egypt and Alexandria were very professional and gave me a great deal of information in a most enjoyable manner that was easy to digest and hopefully retain.
In all an experience of a lifetime (for) which I thank you very much.
