Our 2024 East Africa Safari through Kenya and Tanzania is now open for bookings. Departing 1 August, 2024 for 19 days we will have a maximum 18 travellers including your escort, Judy in 3 x long wheel based, pop top 4WD vehicles. There is now only 3 places left.

Arrive Nairobi and transfer to hotel. Balance of day free to rest and prepare for our upcoming adventure.
A relaxing start today before our full day Nairobi tour visiting the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Kazuri Beads and Karen Blixen Museum with lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.
Following breakfast and check-out, your group will be transferred by road to The Masai Mara National Reserve. Your three-night stay at Zebra Plains Mara Camp includes all meals and scheduled safari activities and it’s here we’ll being our search for the ‘Big Five’, (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo).
Spend the day on both morning and afternoon safari activities exploring the rolling plains of the Mara teeming with wildebeest, gazalles and zebra, with plenty of time at leisure.

Following breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred over the Isebania border to Tanzania and then onto the Serenity on the Lake Resort on the shores of Lake Victoria. The massive 6.5 million-hectare Lake Victoria is three times the size of Wales and is shared by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Known as one of Africa’s ‘Great Lakes’, it is world-renowned as the source of the Nile and is Africa’s largest lake. Your overnight stay includes all meals.
Following breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred to the Western Corridor or Serengeti West region to Lahia Tented Lodge. Your three-night stay includes all meals and scheduled safari activities.
Today we explore the Serengeti Western Corridor on morning and afternoon game drives in search of hippos, lions, leopards and other wildlife with time to relax in between.
Another day of exploring the vast plains of the Western Corridor or Serengeti West in search of the Great Migration which historically passes through the Western Corridor on their trek to the north.
Following breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred to the Ngorongoro region via Olduvai Gorge, regarded as having the earliest record of mankind’s existence. Our drive takes us through the town of Karatu in the green hills of Tanzania’s Northern Highlands to the amazing Ngorongoro Crater, home to the rare black rhino, prides of lion, elephant, cheetah and great herds of buffalo, antelope and wildebeest. Ngorongoro Crater is best known for its natural beauty and abundance of diverse wildlife; which makes it one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. Surrounded by Tanzania’s highlands, this UNESCO-listed crater is said to be the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Visitors can look forward to spotting the world-renowned Big Five and a host of other wildlife species including large herds of zebra and wildebeest.
Early this morning, descend into the depths of the sunken Crater for a 6-hour safari. This environmentally rich region has been given many titles, from ‘Africa’s Eden’ to the unofficial ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World’. Stop for a scenic picnic lunch, returning to the lodge in the afternoon. After some time to relax and unwind, enjoy another African evening.
Following breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred to Lake Manyara National Park. Your overnight stay at Kirurumu Manyara Lodge includes all meals and a scheduled afternoon safari activity.
After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred across the Namanga Border to Kenya and then onto Ol Tukai Lodge. Your two-night stay includes all meals and scheduled safari activities. Located in the southern reaches of Kenya, the Amboseli National Park is renowned for its excellent variety of wildlife such as Masaai giraffe, elephant, lion and cheetah and not surprisingly, it is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The landscape of Amboseli is dominated by the majestic snow cap of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as open plains, acacia woodland, swamps and the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok mountain.
Spend the day on scheduled morning and afternoon safari activities taking those last minute shots that will stay with your forever.
Following breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred back to Nairobi to The Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport Hotel. Your overnight stay includes breakfast. Later this evening, your hotel will host a farewell dinner to celebrate the African adventure you have just experienced.
